SUMMARY:ANA Studio Class with Mary Datum
DESCRIPTION:Make Your Own Art Christmas Cards\nMy process does vary but this is what I do when using acrylics. I sketch what I think would look good on a card. Then I transfer the sketch onto my blank card using my printer. I then paint it. However if I am using oils I draw right onto the card then paint\, oils can be manipulated so any mistakes with the drawing can be fixed. I use Strathmore Canvas Cards\, they come with envelopes. They are waterproof. Or canvas paper can be used. Just has to be cut down and no envelopes. \nI will be demonstrating something simple\, either a Christmas tree or a snowman. They do not require a sketch  I will bring some acrylic paints and canvas paper if anyone wants to try this.  I do not have extra brushes though. I will bring copies of some sketches if anyone wants to try something different than a tree or snowman.
