DESCRIPTION:Professional Educational Opportunity:\nANA will offer Wednesday Studio\, a coaching/tutorial class held alternate Wednesdays at the ANA Studio from 1:00 to 4:00. Taught by ANA Gallery Artists and other professionals\, the sessions offer opportunities for feedback\, inspiration\, and strategies for growth as participants work. Mini-lessons and demonstrations will be offered based on individual needs. What to bring: completed artwork\, artwork in progress\, materials for new pieces\, personal art supplies. SUMMARY:Gary Johnson Representational Abstract Workshop
DESCRIPTION:I’ve created a new workshop in watercolor that I think most people who paint both abstract and representational art will greatly appreciate and enjoy. (See below for examples). We’ll create an intuitive-abstract initially and then modify it by developing a representational approach to our paintings employing gouache as a wash over some of the abstract initially created. No stress\, no errors\, no fuss\, just good approaches as well as useful techniques that can apply to painting not only still life\, florals and etc. but just about anything else that you might like to “mix up”
