SUMMARY:ANA Studio Class with Mary Datum
DESCRIPTION:Make Your Own Art Christmas Cards\nMy process does vary but this is what I do when using acrylics. I sketch what I think would look good on a card. Then I transfer the sketch onto my blank card using my printer. I then paint it. However if I am using oils I draw right onto the card then paint\, oils can be manipulated so any mistakes with the drawing can be fixed. I use Strathmore Canvas Cards\, they come with envelopes. They are waterproof. Or canvas paper can be used. Just has to be cut down and no envelopes. \nI will be demonstrating something simple\, either a Christmas tree or a snowman. They do not require a sketch  I will bring some acrylic paints and canvas paper if anyone wants to try this.  I do not have extra brushes though. I will bring copies of some sketches if anyone wants to try something different than a tree or snowman.

SUMMARY:Gary Johnson Abstract Expressionist Class
DESCRIPTION:Gary’s new abstract expressionist watercolor full day class will be filled with material and tips for new and old artists wanting to have some capability to paint in an abstract expressionist manner.  We’ll be using watercolor paint\, acrylic paint\, oil pastels or watercolor pencils along with some of your very favorites like salt and alcohol.  A materials list is below and can be found at the registration site. \nThis will be a one day class on Saturday\, November 15\, 2025. Gary will hold this class at the new ANA Studio located at 300 N 2nd St\, Rogers AR from 9:30 to 3:30. If you have trouble signing up\, contact Gary at 479-249-5405 and he will assist you.
