DESCRIPTION:New Educational Opportunity:\nEver wish you had a coach to give you feedback on your work? Beginning September 3\, ANA will offer Wednesday Studio\, a coaching/tutorial class held alternate Wednesdays at the ANA Studio from 1:00 to 4:00. Taught by ANA Gallery Artists and other professionals\, the sessions offer opportunities for feedback\, inspiration\, and strategies for growth as participants work \nMini-lessons and demonstrations will be offered based on individual needs. What to bring: completed artwork\, artwork in progress\, materials for new pieces\, personal art supplies. Come for as many sessions as you like. Check the website for dates and coaches. \nMarch 18: Stan Dark – Painting\nCome on by\, I’ll be painting. Coffee will be on. \nTime: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm\nMedium: Work in any medium. Different instructors will be there to coach as needed.\nCost: $30 per class (pay at the class)

DESCRIPTION:Join encaustic artist and storyteller Beth Bobbitt for an immersive talk and demonstration that blends process and technique with the healing principles of creativity. Beginning with the foundations—preparing substrates and mixing beeswax\, damar resin\, and pigment—Beth will build layered surfaces\, fuse with heat\, add color\, carve textures\, embed materials\, and create photo transfers\, while explaining how each step reveals meaning and history. At the end\, she’ll invite participants to experience the process for themselves and ask questions along the way.

DESCRIPTION:Bring whatever artwork you’re working on or start something new. We are setting up tables in the big room or bring your easels and come paint or work with us. We will all work together for the evening and visit amongst ourselves. You can discuss what you are working on and find inspiration and support in the group setting. We’ll have some finger foods and and good friends. \nThis is an event that you can mark on your calendar – the 4th Tuesday every month is Social Paint Night.
