About 9 years ago, I found myself experimenting with acrylic and watercolor paints and discovered that Impressionism was the style that allowed me to remain true to who I am as a person. Throughout my career I’ve realized how in-depth and symbolic life is and I try to reflect that in my Impressionism. There is always a deeper meaning to what we see, and I aim to capture that hidden meaning in my life. We as humans have beautiful and whimsical thoughts that can translate into captivating art, which is what inspires me most. My dreams, desires, and wishes all combine into every painting I produce. I hope you enjoy the flow of the paintings as well as the depth. Try to gaze at the paintings to understand in your own way what it is saying to you and how it makes you feel. Then study the colors and the subjects, and try to piece together a deeper meaning to your life from it. That is my blessing to you. I believe God sees the deeper meaning in each of us and I hope for you to see that in each painting.
“You’ve got to get to the point in life where going for it is more important than winning or losing.”
Arthur Ashe
This quote has been my favorite ever since I saw it years ago. I love this quote, for it inspires me to chase inspiration, embrace life with all it is, and paint with the utmost passion. Art is about going for it, no matter whether we win or lose. It is a freedom to embrace and express our true self in every piece we create.
