Phyllis Clancy Fine Art

Phyllis Clancy started drawing horses, her love, in the 5th grade. She got her B.S. in commercial art from the University of Maryland and worked as an illustrator for the federal government. Her works have been exhibited at galleries since her university years.

Phyllis has received commissions since high school. She is happiest using watercolor, acrylics and micron pens but says she enjoys using any art materials available to her. She has studied drawing, painting, pottery and photography and has continued to take art classes in different media as she finds ones that interest her.

For our June Art Education Meeting, Phyllis will discuss some of the processes and techniques she uses and have available examples of her watercolors and drawings. Please join us. We look forward to seeing you on the 16th of June.
