My first clay class a year ago sparked moments of happiness, peace, and grounded me in way that kept bringing me back for more. Hand-building objects from a lump of clay is so rewarding. I enjoy mixing coil, slab, and pinch techniques to make pottery that can be both decorative, and functional. I’m always finding ways to improve my skills and plan to expand my techniques to include sculptured pieces. In whatever form it takes, pottery is my way of getting out of my head and sharing my thoughts and talents with others.
