ABOUT THE ARTIST
Cat Stone is a relatively new artist in NWA. She started her artistic journey just under 3 years ago after taking a senior watercolor class in June of 2023. She fell in love with the medium and paints daily now.
Cat has been supported by her community in displaying her art regionally. She has exhibited in the Gallery at the Northwest Arkansas Mall in Fayetteville, AR, and the 3rd Art Collective in Grove, OK. She is currently a juried Gallery Artist in Artists of Northwest Arkansas Gallery in Rogers, AR, and featured artist at Art Emporiumin Fayetteville, AR.
She was chosen for 2 solo Art Shows in NWA, one at the Apollo on Emma Street that ran from January 2025 through January 2026 and one at the Faulkner Performing Arts Center in the fall of 2025.
Her painting, Marsh Iris, was featured in the 2024 International Rockwell Paints Wetlands show in Canada where Marsh Iris was one (1) of 50 paintings chosen for exhibit.
Her painting, Of A Rose, was chosen for the 2025 Walton Arts Exhibition in Fayetteville, AR.
This year, 2026, her painting Mon Amis, was chosen for the Mid-Southerners Members Watercolor Exhibition in Little Rock, AR.
Cat lives with her husband Chris Stecklein and her cat Sheba in a log home on a Mountain outside Hindsaville, AR. You will see her often painting and working out of the ANA Gallery in Rogers, AR where her work is featured.
