New Educational Opportunity:
Ever wish you had a coach to give you feedback on your work? ANA offers Wednesday Studio Classes, a coaching/tutorial class held alternate Wednesdays at the ANA Studio from 1:00 to 4:00. Taught by ANA Gallery Artists and other professionals, the sessions offer opportunities for feedback, inspiration, and strategies for growth as participants work.
Mini-lessons and demonstrations will be offered based on individual needs. What to bring: completed artwork, artwork in progress, materials for new pieces, personal art supplies. Come for as many sessions as you like. Check the website for dates and coaches.
January 28: Becky Christenson – Color Charts
Color charts. How to make them, Why to make them, and how to use them.
Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the paint you use.
Sharpen your ability to make critical color judgements when you paint.
Time: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Medium: Work in any medium. Different instructors will be there to coach as needed.

Becky Christenson
Becky Christenson is an impressionistic oil painter and educator whose work captures the luminous light, rich color, and quiet poetry of the Arkansas landscape, inviting viewers to slow down and see with fresh eyes. A longtime teacher and community artist, she holds an Associate’s degree in Graphic Design, has been nominated as an Arkansas Living Treasure, created and led major public art projects and residencies, and is a past president of the Associated Artists of the Philbrook Art Museum in Tulsa, OK.
