Evelyn Jorgenson Collage Workshop

Cost: $300 ANA members / $345  non-members ($45 yearly ANA membership included)

This three-day workshop will explore the beauty and challenges of creating art using Collage. During the first day, we will view some examples of Collage artwork, then explore “found” objects such as colorful magazine pages, interesting old maps and newspapers, bits of printed poetry, and more that we can use in creating our artwork.
We will also explore ways to create colorful handmade, painted papers using watercolor, acrylics, and gel plate prints to use in our Collage artwork. The unique and creative materials that we can use add to the interest and intrigue in the final Collage piece.
In addition to imaginatively creating and finding various collage materials, we will discuss ways to preserve and store the materials for future use. In addition, we will complete at least three finished Collage pieces of artwork—a flower, a landscape, and an abstract design.
