New Educational Opportunity:
Ever wish you had a coach to give you feedback on your work? ANA offers Wednesday Studio Classes, a coaching/tutorial class held alternate Wednesdays at the ANA Studio from 1:00 to 4:00. Taught by ANA Gallery Artists and other professionals, the sessions offer opportunities for feedback, inspiration, and strategies for growth as participants work.
Mini-lessons and demonstrations will be offered based on individual needs. What to bring: completed artwork, artwork in progress, materials for new pieces, personal art supplies. Come for as many sessions as you like. Check the website for dates and coaches.
February 4: Liz Cox – Mono printing technique using a gel plate
Gel printing is a simple mono printing technique using a soft, flexible gel plate to create unique, textured art by layering acrylic paint, stencils, stamps, and found objects onto the plate, then transferring the design to paper for a one-of-a-kind print with no press needed.
Time: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Medium: Work in any medium. Different instructors will be there to coach as needed.
Cost: $30 per class (pay at the class)

Liz Cox
Liz Cox is an artist working in acrylic, hand-made paper and collage. A love of color, texture, playful experimentation, and the beauty of nature influence her work which evokes memory and emotion. Her lengthy career in the field of interior design furthered her appreciation for the impact that textiles, color and the built environment have on everyday life and how strongly we are affected by this interaction. Liz is a Board Member of Artists of Northwest Arkansas and a member of Spectra Artists at Fellowship Bentonville. Her work has been exhibited locally and was included in the “Bloom Room” exhibit at The Medium and the “Unbroken” exhibit at Crystal Bridges in 2025.
