March Membership Show

Springtime is almost here in NWA – Show your colors!

The ANA Members Exhibition is open to all current members of Artists of Northwest Arkansas (ANA). This is a public family-oriented exhibition held in the ANA Gallery and throughout the Rogers Experimental House (RXH) facility. This includes the lobby, the glass galleries by the entrance and the common area in the large room. Both the ANA Gallery and the RXH use a hanging system so all works must be ready to hang. There will be an Artist Reception for the show and the exhibition will be open for viewing during regular ANA Gallery business hours. At the close of the show the members are required to pick up their art work on the days specified or make arrangements for someone to do so for them. Artworks for sale in the ANA Members Exhibit are subject to a 20% commission unless otherwise noted. The ANA Members Exhibit is a volunteer exhibit so we hang at your own risk.

We lost Jeremy TenHaken on Sunday, February 11, 2024. He had a heart procedure done the week before and had complications. Jeremy was an important member of the Northwest Arkansas art community where his many friends appreciated both his work, friendship and support.  He was a member of Artist of Northwest Arkansas and was one of the founding artists members of the ANA Gallery at the Rogers Experimental House. We will hold a Celebration of Life during the March Membership Show.

ARTIST RECEPTION

Our opening party for the show will be March 14, the same night as the Rogers Art on the Bricks. There will be lots going on all through the downtown area. We will have food, live music with Dave Floyd, drinks, art, and an opportunity to visit with friends.

Drop Off Date: Thursday February 29 & Saturday, March 2 from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

ANA GAllery will be closed Friday March 1, 2024 for Jeremy TenHaken funeral service.
Funeral service will be held at St Pau;’s Episcopal Church in Fayetteville at 2:00 pm.

Art Pick Up Date: Friday & Saturday, March 29 – 30 from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Gallery Hours: Tuesday – Sunday 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

 

ARTWORK SPECIFICATION

Number of Works: 3

Size Requirements: No more than 48” in either dimension

Entry Fee: $10 per entry

Artwork Presentation: Gallery wrapped or framed (no staples or white edges on stretchers)

Label Artwork: Please label the back of your art (on the stretcher or a tag) with name and title.

Art Registration Form: Each artist must fill out 2 (two) registration forms that includes artist information and specific artwork information. Please fill out all the information. Please indicate original artwork or print artwork. You can get a PDF of the Show Prospectus and Registration forms on the link at the bottom of this page.

Artwork Delivery: Bring your artwork with your 2 (two) completed Art Registration Forms and your Entry Fee (cash or check) to the ANA Gallery, 121 W. Walnut Street, Rogers, Arkansas on the designated Delivery Day.

Artwork Sign-In and Sign-Out: You must sign your artworks IN and OUT on the Show Register in the ANA Gallery on the delivery and pick up dates specified in this document.

Ready to Hang: Artwork need to be wired with eye hooks or d-rings. Heavy pieces require 2 hanging brackets so make sure you use strong eye hooks or d-rings for hanging. NO saw-tooth hangers permitted.
(NOTE: Please use metal wire – not plastic coated wire which tends to stretch. Glass is accepted but not recommended.)

Artwork Sold: If an artwork is sold, the buyer is allowed to take the artwork on purchase. The artist has the opportunity to add a replacement artwork within 48 hours (or notify ANA for an extension) with a new $10 entry fee. If no replacement is supplied within the 48 hours ANA will select a new artwork for the show.

Sales: All sales are in cash or credit card. Sales are made through the ANA Gallery credit card processing. Tax and fees are included in the sale and handled by the ANA Gallery. A check will be sent to the artist within a month after the sale less their 20% commission.

Artwork Pick-Up Dates: Each artist is responsible for picking up their artwork and arranging for someone to pick-up their artwork on the days specified. Artwork can not be removed before the pick-up dates without authorization by ANA show coordinators. Artwork has to be signed out.

Volunteers: We are a volunteer organization so please volunteer to help out with the event. There is a sign-up sheet you can add your name to at the artwork delivery or you can contact us through the website  CONTACT US for more information.
