About the session:
Susan is a member of ANA and the Fenix Gallery, showing in the Lobby Gallery. She calls her work Surreal Folk Art and there is a touch of humor as well. She will be discussing her work and process as well as invite a few other Fenix artist to chip in.

About Susan Idlet:
My work has been described as “surreal folk art” which kind of fits! My medium is color pencil, and my art is all about clear, intense color. I receive inspiration from photographs and phrases/words. My pencils are often drawn to the humorous side. I love commissions – pets, people, anything!
